Grabenord’s butter is free of casein, whey, or lactose. Our butter is made from Coconut Oil that is rich in protein, potassium, magnesium and iron. It is a healthy fat and hence low in cholesterol compared to regular dairy butter.

  • How is it Cholesterol Free if it has Cashews in it?

    Indicating a few myths about cashew & Cholesterol, Understanding Good Versus Bad Cholesterol Because oil and water don’t mix, cholesterol is packaged in vehicles called lipoproteins. Low-density lipoprotein, or LDL, is considered an unhealthy form of cholesterol because it travels around depositing cholesterol in your organs and tissues. That’s why it’s recommended that you keep LDL below 100 milligrams per decilitre. On the other hand, high-density lipoprotein sweeps up cholesterol and takes it to your liver for elimination. It’s recommended that you aim to keep levels of this good cholesterol above 60 milligrams per decilitre. Cashews Lower Bad Cholesterol It’s true that cashews contain saturated fat. However, most of the fat in cashews is unsaturated, which promotes heart health. A 2-ounce serving of cashews supplies 2 grams of saturated fat and 16 grams of unsaturated fatty acids. So, there's little need to worry about the possibility that eating cashews will increase levels of bad fats in your system. In fact, regularly eating cashews lowers LDL and total cholesterol, making them a heart-healthy part of any diet. Cashews Raise Good Cholesterol The heart health benefits of cashews don’t end at lowering LDL and total cholesterol. A group of researchers investigated the impact that eating cashews had on levels of good cholesterol and blood pressure and published the results in the Journal of Nutrition’s January 2018 issue. Over the course of the 12-week trial, consuming cashews boosted levels of HDL, the good form of cholesterol, and lowered blood pressure. All the more reason to include cashews and other nuts in your diet. So, our butter is completely safe for consumption & hence is Cholesterol free.

I turned vegan about 4 years ago and was looking to find a substitute for Amul butter which is when I came across this brand. I was a bit sceptical at first but since was really wanting to get the same taste, I decided to give it a try. When I tasted it, it didn't seem like the same butter which is obvious but gradually my taste buds started liking it so much so that I am now ordering a third batch in 3 packets. Its a light butter which is similar to Amul. Not very salty which is good . Its creamy and goes well with paranthas.
The only downside is that its pretty expensive.

If you are looking for a closer substitute to Amul Butter then this is a good one to go for.
