Ingredients
For the Roasted Garlic
- 1 head of Garlic
- 2-3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Fresh Thyme
For the Compound Butter
- 1 box Grabenord Classic Vegan Butter, at room temperature
- 10 Roasted Garlic Cloves, turned into a paste
- 2 tbsp Chilli Flakes
- 1 tbsp Coriander, freshly chopped
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Procedure
- To make the roasted garlic, first cut the top end of the garlic head so that the garlic cloves are visible.
- Place the garlic in aluminum foil. Drizzle the olive oil and place the thyme on top.
- Make a parcel with the foil and place it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35-45 minutes or until all of the cloves are dark brown and jammy.
- Place the Grabenord Classic Butter in a bowl.
- Add the chilli flakes, salt, pepper, and coriander to the bowl.
- Squeeze out the roasted garlic cloves from the head and turn it into a paste.
- Add the paste to the bowl.
- Mix all of the ingredients and combine well.
- Use the compound butter on roasted veggies, to make garlic bread, or simply on toast.
- Store refrigerated for up to 1 week.
